  • How do you price your commissions?
I don't go by hourly wage, instead I price by individual parts of a whole and overall complexity. This allows for more expensive and less expensive versions of the same piece.
  • I'm worried about paying the full commission price up front, how do I know I'll get my commission?
Artistree has strict policies in place to protect both client and artist from scams or otherwise anything that wasn't agreed to. If anything were to go wrong during the process for either party Artistree saves all interactions on the platform and will legally defend the wronged person. So you can rest assured your purchase will be protected and I will deliver your piece! Paying the full price up front allows me to take on fewer clients at once, meaning I have more time to work with you personally.
  • Why do you use Artistree?
Artistree is the easiest and safest way to go about commissions for both client and artist. They offer secure payment, legal protection for both parties, messaging in app, and easy ways to share WIPS and request edits. Artistree doesn't take any money from the artist and every commission through Artistree donates money to the Eden Reforestation Project to plant trees.
  • Will you share any of my personal details in posts about the commission I requested?
I will never share any personal details about my clients or possible clients and Artistree will never sell your data. Since all my commissions are still my intellectual property and I make my living by engaging with my audience, I may post WIPS or finished commissions on my social medias. These posts will not violate your privacy, they will only be of the commission itself. If you don't want me to post your commission (WIPS or finished) please tell me before I start working. On the other hand if you would like to be specifically mentioned as the commissioner when I post your commission, please give me your social media handle(s) and your permission to mention you.
  • Am I allowed to print my commission?
When you order a commission you may order it for digital transfer (I will send you a high quality image) or you may request that I print your commission and mail it to you. Requesting that I print your commission will increase the price depending on where you live. If you choose to order a commission for digital transfer you are allowed to print it at your own expense, however there are some legal caveats. Reference my Commission Terms of Service (found at the bottom of each page, even this one!) to find out exactly how you are allowed to print my commissions.
  • Do you involve yourself with any NFT art or AI art?
Nope! Personally I am not too fond of NFT or AI art, I don't use my art for either and no one has my permission to use my art for any NFT or AI purposes.
  • How do I buy prints or other products you have?
Go to the Shop page on my website to view what is currently available to buy. If the shop is closed, you can get on my mailing list (on the Contact page) to be notified when the shop reopens. You can also come see me in person and purchase what I have available during events, the Home page will have upcoming events listed and you can be notified about upcoming events by getting on the mailing list.
